El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a day of celebration, particularly for our families that identify as Latinx. It is a day to honor and celebrate the lives of family and friends who have passed.
At Creative Arts, our students artists are learning the cultural and artistic significance of this holiday (Nov.1-2), and have been making meaning in a variety of artful ways.
We invite families to bring in copies of photos to recognize ancestors, friends and close companions who have passed, to add to our 1st floor installation- we hope you will join us.
