What is a Matching Gift?

A matching gift is an important employee benefit that supports employees in their personal philanthropy and fundraising efforts. This involves matching individual contributions to eligible nonprofits, including public schools.

Why investigate if your employer matches charitable gifts?

Hundreds of employers across America recognize the value of their employees’ donations to nonprofits, and offer matching gifts programs to further increase the value of these donations. Creative Arts Charter School is a non-profit organization, and a copy of our 501(c)(3) IRS letter is available on request.

What to do?

Get a Matching Gift form from your employer, fill out your portion, and mail it in the reply envelope with your donation, or drop it off with your donation to the office.

More and more employers offer online Matching Gift processing, so you may not even need a form

Just let them know you donated to us, and they will take care of the rest. Some companies even offer donation, via payroll deduction, so we receive your donation and their matching gift in one lump sum!
